Welcome to Bamurru Plains, the all-inclusive Australian safari camp in the Northern Territory’s tropical Top End, home to some of the country’s most spectacular and diverse bird and wildlife.
The true luxury of Bamurru Plains is its location. This beautiful wilderness region of over 300 square kilometres is home to one of the largest crocodile populations in the world, and the annual migration of over one hundred thousand magpie geese – an incredible sight and sound to behold.
Off the beaten track from the regular tourist path, Bamurru Plains is off-grid and located on a water buffalo station. The infrastructure of our lodge occupies a small footprint, with only twelve safari-style accommodation lodgings sharing exclusive access to the floodplain and savanna woodland on the Mary River, on the edge of Kakadu National Park.
